What We Do

AgLink helps Australian farmers grow clean, quality, sustainable food and fibre for world markets

Over the next 35 years the Earth’s population will grow from 7 billion to 9 billion. That’s another extra 215,000 mouths to feed every day. The challenge for farmers will be to increase the production of quality food and fibre. Utilizing scarce resources – land, water and labour – in more productive ways to meet the growing demand for clean, quality food, is an increasing challenge.

AgLink Australia – a collection of 13 independent businesses operating from over 260 locations in all Australian states and territories – has been helping Australian farmers grow quality, sustainable food and fibre for 36 years.

AgLink Australia has one of the largest group of qualified professionals providing agronomy and animal production advice, supported by the supply of reputable products to Australian farmers. These staff help them produce greater amounts of clean, sustainable fruit and vegetables, wheat, barley, canola, rice, sugar, cotton, wool, beef, sheep and dairy.

AgLink Australia has a strong focus on innovation, research and development, facilitating trials of new chemical, fertilizer and seed technology on behalf of our partner suppliers.

Under the companies Academy, each year in excess of 4,000 hours of training, including skills in leadership and product knowledge are undertaken by our members and their staff.

Our members generate revenue of more than $1.75 billion per annum, and employ 1,500 people, including 350 agronomists.  Importantly, they have strong regional footprints, maintaining deep relationships with their customers and communities.
